Lawrence J. Chatterton
Colors and shapes inspire me...
Lawrence J. Chatterton, a native Long Islander, became interested in
photography as a child in Jr High School. He pursued his education at
Nassau Community College where he is currently working as a Photography
Technologist in the Art Department. He later went on to complete his
Bachelor of Arts at Suny Empire State College.
Mr. Chatterton works primarily as a portrait photographer; however, his portfolios include landscapes, abstracts and architectural studies.
In addition, Mr. Chatterton has taught many levels of photography. He was on the faculty of the BOCES Cultural Arts Center in Syosset, Usdan Center for the
Creative and Performing arts and the Gemini program in the Herricks
School District. His work has been on exhibit in numerous venues
including The Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery, Empire Gallery, Soho Photo
Gallery, BJ Spoke Gallery, Stepping Stone Gallery and fotofoto Gallery.
